Privacy

Short version: your video and audio files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Your files

When you choose or drop a file, your browser opens it locally. The noise removal (the DeepFilterNet3 model, running as WebAssembly) and the writing of the new file happen inside your browser. No part of the file, its sound or its picture is sent over the network.

While it works, the browser saves the cleaned file in its private storage for this site (the Origin Private File System), so long videos don’t have to fit in memory. That copy stays on your device; it is replaced when you clean the next file and removed if you clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

What the server sees

The site is static and hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver pages (IP address, browser type, the pages requested) and may keep short-lived logs for security; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Fonts and the model are served from this site. Apart from the analytics below, no third-party scripts, fonts or ads are loaded.

Analytics

To understand how many people use the site and which pages they read, we use:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics, which our host Cloudflare adds to each page. It records the page address, the page you came from, your browser type, country and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies and does not identify you; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics never receives your files or their contents. The site sets no cookies.

No accounts, no ads

There is no sign-up and no advertising. We don’t sell or share personal data.
